Child bearing is a sacred honour of womanhood, however, right now, there is an alarming percentage of unplanned pregnancies.
One of the consequences of which is the high rate of abortion. Female students who are pregnant tend to be embarrassed, shy and isolated
regarding for their situation, because of that, in November 2017, the Vietnamese Students Association for Human Rights, in cooperation with a number of Civil Society Organisations and partners have founded an ASSISTANCE FUND FOR PREGNANT STUDENTS.
We are aiming to offer assistance to minimise the difficulties and trauma of having to go through a termination or the morning after pill.
Our association will help with some of the costs for, food, milk and accommodation for pregnant students.
At the same time we will campaign the universities to arrange better study timetables to encourage and enable students to continue their education during pregnancy.
Anyone in need of assistance, please contact the Vietnamese Students Association for Human Rights. Proof of pregnancy will need to be provided from either a hospital or clinic, along with a student card or statement of enrolment to firstname.lastname@example.org
In case of emergency, please contact the following number for advice and assistance:+447490948385 (please ask for Ngoc Kim).
Our association guarantees to secure the privacy and confidentiality of the students who came to us for our help. Under normal circumstances
we will not disclose any details to any third party without your permission.
